Mission and Vision
The People’s Academy is a 2 year pre-apprenticeship program focused on providing inner city residents with the ability to adopt a trade for life in the copper industry. The instructors at TPA use only recycled metals because the team cares about our environment and our future. The goal is to enroll and graduate 30 students per year, providing a path to self-sufficiency, viable employment opportunities, financial literacy, and a sense of purpose, making invaluable contributions to themselves, to their families, to the economy and to development of our communities.
